Unfortunately with the lockdown and all that ensued it has been forced on me. Waiting!
Obviously we could not fly to Thailand at the end of March and we have been waiting at home since.
Life is full of unexpected turns and twists and this time it has been no exception. No matter how much one plans something, life, fate or whatever you would like to call it, can wash it away in a second.
Many times it has happened to us, in our overland trips or lives. Something happens and we need to change significantly our plans.
All one can do is reassess the situation and alter plans to fit this new reality. In the end, the only thing that truly matters is that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. Everything else can be faced and solved eventually. One way or another. Every problem has a solution. Not necessarily the solution you may want, but there is always a solution. Flexibility and compromise is the key, as always.
So in these difficult and strange times, I hope you are all well.
As for me, I am already planning trips and more trips. I am not ready to hang up my motorcycle boots just yet!
